Democrats are hoping that the leaked Supreme Court draft would help them turn around their current situation leading up to the midterms.

A new CNN poll has found that this issue will likely not help Democrats. CNN asked registered voters enthusiastic about the midterms if they would be happy or angry if Roe v Wade was overturned. 38% said they would be happy if it was overturned while only 20% said they would be angry.
“As a Registered Voter Enthusiastic about the Midterm vote, will you be Happy or Angry if Roe v Wade is overturned?” CNN asked.
It reported: “And voters who say overturning Roe would make them “happy” are nearly twice as enthusiastic about voting this fall as those who say such a ruling would leave them “angry” (38% extremely enthusiastic among those happy, 20% among those angry).”
For decades, a majority of Americans have taken a pro-life position wanting all or more abortions made illegal. Here is a list of several major polls in recent years confirming this to be true.
A recent CNN poll also found Republicans leading the generic congressional ballot by 7.
