Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin is facing calls to resign after her recent comments at the University of Chicago regarding young conservatives wanting to work in the Trump administration.
Slotkin said, “I want young people to be like, lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems I don’t want, so let me avoid participating. I want that deterrence”

Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) is threatening young conservatives who work or want to work in President Donald Trump’s administration with “a ton of problems” once Democrats regain political power.
“I want young people to be like, lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems I don’t want, so let me avoid participating. I want that deterrence,” Slotkin said.
The Senator, a former CIA agent, made the comment on the University of Chicago campus.

Trump blasted Slotkin over her comments.
Trump wrote, “That’s a hell of a statement. Slotkin said that there should be prosecutions in order to scare people from going into politics. That’s a Democrat and that’s what they do. That’s all they’re good at — and you know what? That’s why they’re getting their asses kicked.”
