Suspect Taken Into Custody After Running Car Through Christmas Parade

A person driving an SUV rammed his car through a group of pedestrians in taking part in a Christmas parade in Wisconsin.
A red SUV hit pedestrians partaking in a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, according to witnesses and video footage of the incident, officials said.
ADVERTISEMENTThe footage, which was live-streamed and posted on the City of Waukesha’s Facebook page, shows the SUV speeding into the parade behind a school marching band. Other videos were uploaded elsewhere, including one that allegedly shows the SUV breaking a police barricade.
One video (disturbing) appeared to show the SUV running over people who were partaking in the parade.
Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson told reporters that 20 people were injured in the incident.

The suspect has been taken into custody.
