The Republican National Committee (RNC) holds a near $100 million cash advantage over Democrats according to new filings from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
The RNC totes around $95 million cash while the Democratic National Committee holds about $14 million, per filings, as both parties gear up for the 2026 midterm elections.
The DNC is also grappling with around a $17.5 million deficit following their defeat in the previous election cycle.
Last year, the party raised a total of $145 million, lagging the Republican Party by $27 million.
House Speaker Mike Johnson feels “bullish” about Republicans’ chances.
Johnson said, “We’re going to have a war chest to run on.”
