NBA Hall Of Famer Writes Letter In Support Of January 6th Defendant

NBA Legend John Stockton wrote a letter in support of Janet Buhler, a woman being charged for being involved on January 6th.

She is the wife of Dr. Craig Buhler who worked with Stockon during his NBA career. The letter says that Janet Buhler is one of the “kindest people” he has ever known and that she is a person of high character.

Utah Jazz legend John Stockton has willingly placed himself in controversy once again, writing a letter to a federal judge in support of a woman who was involved in the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

She is facing 6 months in prison for “parading, demonstrating or picketing at the Capitol building.” She was facing five misdemeanors initially but after a plea deal now only faces one.

Janet Buhler, 56, faces up to six months in prison for her involvement in the Capitol riots. She admitted to one count of parading, demonstrating or picketing at the Capitol building.
