He released an announcement video on Twitter saying, “Together, we can bring this Country back, and the best days for the Greatest Nation on Earth are yet to come!”

Former Vice President Mike Pence released a video early Wednesday morning officially declaring that he is running for president in 2024.
“I believe in the American people, and I have faith God is not done with America yet. Together, we can bring this Country back, and the best days for the Greatest Nation on Earth are yet to come! #Pence2024,” Pence tweeted along with the video.

On Monday, Pence filed paperwork to run for president next year. His launch is on Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa, also the same day as his 64th birthday.
Pence is currently far behind Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis in polling.
Pence enters the 2024 race polling the mid-single digits, far behind Trump and also significantly trailing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who trails Trump by double-digits but is firmly in second place, ahead of the former vice president and the rest of the field of actual and likely candidates.
