Liz Cheney is on her way out the door as a leader in the House GOP. It is pretty much inevitable at this point.

The big question now is who should replace her as the GOP conference chair?

One name that has been floated is Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York. Some people on the right have complained that Stefanik’s record is not conservative enough, but she did just get a big endorsement from the Border Patrol.
